Look, what I mean is that all the options in that preference.ini are either from NeoMule or Neo-R.
I don't remember all the options by heart, and I have a really crappy connection, besides the fact that I go to work full time and then to college, so i don't want to spend an hour adjusting settings till it works properly; all I want is someone that knows how to control those parameters, from the app or from preferences.ini, that's all.
I know I should not use an old preferences file, I've been using neomule since 2005, and I've seen so many changes.
So thank you for your advice, but all I need is someone that knows the settings.

but,even tho' your were fortunate, your way is simply wrong

next time you switch/update your mod, if it will be atleast a bit possible, go thru the settings


AND

to your problem, there is now way with this mod of Neo itself, those strings were either removed, disabled or hardcoded(last one not probable), what was is long lost

one feature i'm sometimes using is 'Messages'

i know usually no one responds BUT

last time i did, it was some 5discs release, with only one source and dozen peers, about two months i was jumping in his/her queue w/o getting a Byte

then i send one (not very polite) message and i was given friendslot and everything was done in few days by 30~90 kB/s

I tried that so many times, even offered people from my country to exchange dvds over postal mail or to meet somewhere to exchange them (most people that have internet live in my same city), and no one ever gives a sh*t.
