Personally I didn't efficiently use that system still, but I guess It's a good tool to get your account well secured against any dangerous warnings/banning threats, nice trip BCG !

That's a very thorough explanation of the SP from you, I've thanked you for your kind helps.
Yup, capping your upload speed. I've seen the requirements to get SP already too.
I also know of the overview of the torrents to see your SP and such, but thanks for telling me that too.
I guess I won't try cheating since BCG can be considered easy to seed on if you've got the time.
For the "have had it running at least 36h if it's size is smaller than 500MB, or 72h if it's bigger than that." Is it the total time of the torrent seeding or the time it has started to seed if it has been stopped before?
I downloaded a 96mb torrent and there is no leechers. I'm seeding for almost 2 days now.
So what do I gain with these SP? I thought that this will get my torrent ratio up, since there are no peers.
When your SP meets your cost you will get a 1:1 file ratio on that torrent.

@GShow: it cleared some things for me too, after rereading it
If it's possible for you to leave your client seeding for the necessary amount of time to start earning SP, I strongly recommend you do. It's a risk-free way to have a good ratio.
And, as poopsalot said, it's the total amount of time you've left your torrent seeding.
@yoco: you have 8.75 SP, and that torrent's "cost" is 10p. When you get the 1.25p that are needed for the SP amount to equal the cost, you'll automatically gain a 1:1 ratio on that torrent.

bcg is probably the most hard to understand rule book out there.
still sp is a good thing :)

I forgot to ask one more thing about Seed Point. What happens when I allready got my ratio over 1.1 with seeding and then seed point starts? Does it increase my ratio?
If a torrent's ratio was already 1.000 or higher, it won't accumulate SP.

So SP doesn't count for users that got their ratio with seeding?
Correct. If you had already managed to get a 1:1 ratio or higher on a torrent by just uploading, that torrent won't earn SP:
Torrent Ratio shows the member what that particular torrent's ratio has reached. Remember, only ratios less then 1.0 will qualify for Seed Points.

Do you maybe know if they have a movie tracker? I remember that there was a poll some time ago about if they should do it.
