Error Message:

Can't assign requested address.

Explanation:

This normally results from an attempt to create a socket with an address not on this computer. The "address" it refers to is the remote socket name (protocol, port and address). This error occurs when the sin_port value is zero in a sockaddr_in structure for connect() or sendto(). This error also occurs when you are trying to name the local socket (assign local address and port number) with bind(), but Windows Sockets doesn't ascribe this error to bind().

User Action:

Assume bind() will fail with this error. Let the network system assign the default local IP address by referencing INADDR_ANY in the sin_addr field of a sockaddr_in structure input to bind(). Alternately, you can get the local IP address by calling gethostname() followed by gethostbyname().

Have you changed your network card, or added a new one? Go to Options -> Network -> Advanced network settings, and make sure the "Local IP address" and "IP to bind to" fields are empty.
If that doesn't work, you can try a clean install - close Faze, delete the %appdata%\.BitTornado folder, and restart the mod.

Thx i fix i active connections via IPv6 and my Ip is static so crash... thx

But i have another problem now:

With utorrent 1.8.0 my downloads at a full speed with Faze i have 10-30 kb so i active encryption to Forced the same utorrent but dont work what i can do ???

That's weird... every client's implementation of PE should be the same. Can you show a pic of your uT settings, just in case? Remember the "Stealth" encryption level in Faze is the equivalent of "forced" in uTorrent, plus unticking the "allow incoming legacy connections" checkbox.

And glad to know you can at least "fool" your ISP's shapers forcing encryption. Here it seems nothing can be done, and they throttle even ICQ file transfers and Steam downloads... -_-

No problem.
Stealth essentially makes you be able to download a torrent while you're not shown in the tracker's peerlist as doing such. The tracker also doesn't return your IP to clients asking for peers.
This adds security, although of course it doesn't work on all trackers.

It's called private because it is private.

"Normal" users can't download it.

habe auch gerade diese entwicklung gesehen. Welche version ist jetzt die aktuelle ? 0.1 Public Beta oder die 0.3 alpha ?

Wir daran weiterentwickelt und kommt die no upload Funktion offiziel ggf. ? Habe bisher den shu mod von Azureus.

beta ist natürlich neuer... und noup gibts schon, ist aber nur im private bereich zu finden.


und wie ich schon auf 00de frage, was hast du gegen den shu-mod?
wenn du probleme damit hast, einfach im entsprechenden thread fragen, hier wird dir schnell geholfen...

habe nichts gegen den ShuMod, aber man kann sich ja immer mal nach Alternativen umschauen und ich dachte das wäre ggf. eine Alternative mit 0-Upload und halt vielelicht weniger Speicherauslastung.

ja wir mussten in den letzten monaten all unsere zeit ins forum investieren und hatten daher keine zeit um am faze weiter zu arbeiten ich hoffe aber das es sich bald wieder legen wird und wir das projekt weiter fortführen können
