Thread: API Indexers Table (With Tiers and Prices)

  1. #31

    Thumbs up

    Thank you so much for the info! I thought that they had an api because usenethd.li/api?t=caps returns a request for an api key.
    But yeah, that could be any api, not necessarily newznab.

    EDIT: Just checked at the json and the error code indicates that it is actually a Invision REST API, not a newznab. Thank you again for pointing out, Mag1sk.

    Hey, just a quick update:
    SceneNZBs has 5 downloads for free users. I think they had 10 when I did my updated list or I really mixed something up back then. Nonetheless, this can be corrected.
    And yesterday I finally fixed my list on GitHub with your corrections. Thank you again :)

    I was going to fix it myself, but didn't want to create any race conditions with sbestran's next update, so let's wait for that instead.

    Red face 07/07/2024 Update!

    There we go, a new update after visiting every Indexer in the table as of 07/07/2024

    ============
    ## Changelog:
    ============

    ---------------------
    INDEXERS:
    ---------------------
    abnzb:
    Supporter: updated apis/nzbs from 1000/500 to 1500/750
    VIP: updated apis/nzbs from 3000/1500 to 10000/2500

    NZBFinder:
    Basic: 12EUR to 15U$
    Pro: 25EUR to 30U$; updated 20000 nzbs to Unlimited
    Elite: 40EUR to 45U$

    NZBPlanet
    Updated formating that could cause problems with copy/paste the data to elsewhere.

    SceneNZBs
    Free: 10 to 5 nzbs (thanks, Bewegter! I didn't catch that!)

    SquareEyed
    HD Vip: Updated nzbs from 2000 to 500
    UHD Vip: Updated nzbs from 5000 to 2000

    Tabula-Rasa
    added 2Years prices

    Usenet-Crawler
    BFF: updated apis/nzbs from 50000/5000 to 10000/1000

    ---------------------
    NOTES:
    ---------------------
    Added note 9 to give visibility to Bewegter's github table and to everyone who is helping here!

    ---------------------
    Notes for this update:
    ---------------------

    - NinjaCentral and Planet data were kept with the numbers given at their DONATION pages, since in other parts of the site it has different numbers (limits and prices)

    - NZBIndex api has been giving errors and the page no longer provides a way to ask for an API key. As that could be temporary, the old data was kept.

    - Newz69, NZBCore, NZB-SA and NZBSearchmachine were all unreachable during the pilgrimage. There are no confirmations about this being permanent and some of these sites had downtimes in the past, so, as that could be temporary, the old data was kept (but should be removed on next update if these sites really went offline)

    - AnimeTosho and WfF[nZb] could not be checked this time due to other reasons. Old data (2024-05) was kept.

    ============
    ## Changelog End
    ============

    Feel free to point out anything you see.
    What do you guys think of the Newz69, NZBCore, NZB-SA, NZBSearchmachine and NZBIndex situations?

    Thanks for helping!
    Yes, nzbcore is back online, and newz69 has a history of going down for some periods (In the past the admin said it takes the api down when too much traffic was used in the host, but I don't know what is the case right now.
    Yes, Newzbay and many others are invite only, this table doesn't cover that info, only price, limits, and crypto payments.
    Be welcome to join us here.

    @Anon , can you please move the new table to the 1st post as usual? Thank you!

    I don't know about the others, but NZB-SA is not famous for its reliability and NZBSearchMachine's owner has an account here, which I think... somehow makes them less unlikely to return?

    I'd say we can remove anything that is still offline by the time of the next update, it would make the code more manageable. Besides, vBulletin keeps edit histories, so they can be easily brought back.

    It was undead for some time now, but now it looks actually dead. :(

    So many negatives of negatives. You meant you think they WILL come back, right?

    He could answer us directly here. Having representatives of any of these sites here would be very good for the table.

    Yes, I was going to remove (we do not want dead sites on the table, and the more compact the better) but then I imagined that adding lines later would become harder. Giving them some time is still better.

    I'll remember that the next time I drink'n'type...
    But, about the table, I have been saving the posts backups in txts too in case something go wrong.

    I may give that some degree of probability

    Many site owners are on Reddit and active at /r/usenet. Maybe we could build a list of known contact details for all indexers as was done for tracker support channels back in the day, on the basis that information becomes harder to find when they're down...

    In the meantime, I just sent him a PM.

    It's been a while NZBSearchMachine never got back to me, which is unfortunate as they were a good, no-nonsense free indexer.

    Sorry for being away, not much happening @ usenet and a lot happening IRL.

    About searchmachine: Yeah, with it we had 4 removals at once :/
    A good replacement for searchmachine has been, for me, the one shared by Bewegter: ClubNZB.
    It works fine, the API has been reliable and some spots are nowhere else (that I can access) to be found, helped me more than once.

    NZBIndex api being gone remains a mistery to me. They usually provided one year if asking trough e-mail, but the link and info about doing so is gone together with the API (api?t=caps is returning "forbidden").

    Newz69 seams to be really gone, but I didn't access the forums to ask, either. (I don't even know the site)

    About NZB-SA... Well... It seems Bela Lugosi is really dead.

    No worries, I understand that and no news is good news.

    As for the dead indexers, it's a shame that so much content keeps getting lost as they're in a better position than private trackers to ensure it isn't - just dump and upload the NZBs and passwords somewhere - but I guess everyone thinks they will never die.
