Invites are open again after nearly four months, but with many new restrictions in place: lootboxes can no longer award temporary VIP or invite codes, single invites cost 30,000 coins in the shop, 30-day VIP status is no longer available, and permanent VIP has gone up to 100,000 coins.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask are invites open right now ? I've contacted two people and they both said they can't invite anymore and tried to share their account with me.
As far as I know, everything remains as described in post #154. The invite page explicitly notes VIPs are able to generate invite codes.

The irc channel seems invite-only at the moment and from the looks of it, it was immediately overwhelmed. What are the chances this will backfire ?

Got in queue while I was at work. Was like 80th, interviews went really slow. Now the irc channel is private again. I don't feel so good.
The queue doesn't reset if you leave based on what the "Sonny" bot is outputing. The earlier you joined after the announcement was made the higher the priority, even if you leave.
Once again, victims of their own success. But I highly recommend that you (and others who aren't already in) keep an eye on this and make your best attempt to take the interview when/if possible. Unlike RED or MAM, you'll be joining this tracker for what it is, not as a gateway to the one(s) you actually want.

Ohh. No. I'll be waiting. I'm on vacation anyway so I'll just leave irc open. I have time till August starts. I've been looking at some screenshots I found on the internet. Is there like a way to widen the torrent list to use the whole screen space on FL ? ( like Fluid themes on SB-Innovation )
