Don't look at me, I was under the impression this bug was confirmed to have been fixed. A clean install may help

Is there anyway to change the Main Extreme mod settings without affecting the existing torrents? Coz each time I adjust the main setting and restart the client, all the existing torrents settings gets altered or sometimes the entire fake setting is blanked out ( all existing settings cleared ). I always make sure not to select any torrent before modifying the setting but it still happens.
Secondly is there an option to configure multiple Extreme mod settings unique to each Category / Tag ?
Thank you.
Well, that shouldn't happen at all... changes to global settings are only meant to affect newly-added torrents and never applied retroactively.
No. There is no way to change cheating settings for multiple torrents at a time either (at least not from the graphical interface). The mod has very few shortcomings, but this is one of them.Secondly is there an option to configure multiple Extreme mod settings unique to each Category / Tag ?

I believe you, so something must've gone wrong. Earlier today, when I changed the setting ( decreased upload speeds & disabled show as seeder) and restarted the client. There were 29 torrents ( mix of ratiomaster & speedmode ) in total and all of their extreme mod settings were completely turned off after restart. So as soon as I noticed this, I stopped all of them immediately and manually entered the settings for each torrent once again. These changes might be superficial, but I didn't want to risk getting caught.
This was the first time something like this happened, usually it's just one or two torrents whose settings gets altered to the new global setting. The reason why I'm so sure is because, I've noticed certain torrents change from ratiomaster mode to speedmode and vice versa. But since you're certain that this shouldn't happen, I'll recheck and record it it happens again, thank you anon.

The behavior of the global Extreme Mod settings panel is one of many things I retested for 2.7.0.2 Rev2, so I can absolutely confirm no such thing occurs on that version. (I did encounter if you make any changes, a restart is now required to automatically apply the new values to future torrents. But existing ones were never altered in any way.)
A regression in 2.8.0.0 is possible but unlikely, as it was just a regular core update.

Hi.
First time using Ratio Tool and when I open a torrent file it allocates all files on hd.
Is that really what happens?
thanks
If you're not interested on the torrent's files, you should deselect them all prior to starting it. Otherwise, BiglyBT will still attempt to download them, since it's a BitTorrent client after all (the preallocation setting only affects how partial files are dealt with).

Hi guys,
It's been a while. What are the ideal settings for No Reporting DL/UL? Mine is currently set at "Show you as leech". Is that still recommended?
"Ideal settings" and "recommended" are highly dependent on what you want to do and where, so please give more details. Do note that none of the features that partially or completely block stats (no report, ghostleeching, download manipulation) are advisable for small swarms.
