The only thing that would bankrupt RED is removing the invite forum Also, cross-posting this here.
But if you need something more complex or don't want to trust the Invidious instance that does the redirect, youtube-dl or jDownloader it is.

I don't mean to downplay the OP but I've been taking a look at it in the last hour because anon referenced it in the past and due to the impact time has had on most of the links and most of the piracy methods I think SoulseekQt , or better, Nicotine+ and Rutracker are the most impactful ways of getting to your music. I know Deezer had a period where there were some nice tools available for it where you could just pass a token and then download whatever you wanted but I think that is no more.
No, you're right. Grooveshark, Rapidshare, Ares - it's like looking at a fossil record! Back then Spotify was just taking off and music trackers weren't invite forums hidden behind an autosnatch spam quota...
Anyway, I think the almighty RuTracker and creative usage of regular search engines should cover most music needs. Fopnu is another underrated option, although its ability to find content seems to depend on who's online at the time and how good your connection to the network is.

I've also found this site. https://lucida.to/
It doesn't seem to work too well but I've seen it in the metadata of some OPS releases.

Seems promising, but I invariably get error code 500 when trying to download anything?

Spotify, Deezer and Soundcloud. If I block *error* with the developer console there is no error message, but clicking on the download button does nothing. I blame my setup, making a note to try it on a clean browser soon.

What a nice error message
Anyway, let's say they manage to fix everything... what do you think are their long-term prospects of surviving? The precedents set by YouTube rippers are not so good.

Spotify + Sidify Music Converter combo has been working for me
