    qBittorrent 4.4.5

As of version 4.0.4, this client uses an individual peer_id, so it's okay to run both mRatio and qBittorrent at the same time. As of version 4.3.0, anonymous mode has no effect on announce requests for private torrents, so enabling it shouldn't be a detection vector. Also, this emulation has support for the "IP/hostname to report to tracker" feature.

This client emulates the following settings, so make sure your real qBittorrent 4.4.5 also uses them:
    • Encryption mode: Allow encryption
    • Optional IP address to bind to: All addresses
    Attached Files Attached Files

Thanks for the steady updates . I can help with some testing if needed and let me know how I can help. Qbittorrent is both the shittiest client and stable client available. I would also recommend to wait sometimes like even a week before pushing an update sometimes cause as you can see it was updated twice in last month.

It is true that in theory it is healthier to wait a few days or even a few weeks before jumping on an update.

The thing is, some want the update as soon as possible and others would prefer to wait a little to be more careful like you and me.

So I'm a little torn between, publishing as quickly as possible and download whoever wants, or, publishing more slowly to less spam the forum and clients’ threads as you propose.

Maybe we should do a poll ?

The most important thing I think, is that I should need to learn to make a client by sniffing packets to be totaly autonomous if qBittorent change anything in its fonctionnalities.

I plan to check everything that's been posted as soon as I can get my virtual machine up again, and will post an approval or corrections (if applicable) immediately afterwards.

In principle, the best thing to do would be posting updates as quickly as possible. Those who want to upgrade will be able to do so immediately, those who don't are unaffected. However, creating and testing a client file takes time and effort that you may not be able to invest frequently and on cue (which is why I chose the path of deliberately waiting between updates). So the solution is to do what you can, when you can. And the more people capable of creating emulations we have, the higher the chance at least one of them will be able to fill gaps

If it's any consolation, this situation is nothing compared to when uTorrent entered the 1.8.x, 2.x and 3.x branches. New builds on a near-daily basis

Well, my response(s) to your very first post here should have almost everything you need. Unfortunately the way to capture reserved bytes and LTEP clientName isn't documented, and while those details either rarely change or do so in a predictable way, they should also be checked as a matter of policy.
