    This is from Russia. No way the FBI could get them. Unless the owner decides to visit Poland (see KAT bust).

    Just knew this tracker from another post of anon. How about this tracker compared to EMP and PornBay? I've been using ViperGirls, a DDL site, and it's satisfying in terms of coverage of resources, dunno if these trackers will be any better?

    DDL forums are only good for fresh uploads. I used pornbb.org and porn-w.org as my main sources for a while, but look for anything older than a year or two and even the screenshots will be broken

    Anyway, Pornolab has less fewer daily uploads than the others (although much of what hits EMP and PBay is PornHub rips and spam imagesets) and takes longer to get new stuff. But the areas where it shines are...
    • Retention: unseeded torrents are few and far between. Even those that are a decade old will have at least a few seeders.
    • Collection: there are very old and rare files like VHS rips, 2000s DVDRs, magazine scans, retro eroge and so on.
    • Exclusives: they have many packs and siterips you can't find anywhere else. Those are occasionally updated as new relevant content comes out.

    There are also some downsides...
    • The entire site interface is in Russian, as are 99% of descriptions and comments. Not a big problem unless you plan on uploading torrents, as everything can be worked out through intuition, but could be intimidating at first.
    • The bonus system is highly unusual: if and only if you're the only seeder on a torrent, any upload traffic on it is doubled.
    • They suck for H-manga, but so do all torrent sites. Go to nhentai.net or hitomi.la for that.
    • High amount of advertisements. Not an issue for me since they don't have abusive pop-ups, sounds or cryptominers, but others may disagree.
    • No HTTPS available for tracker announces.

    If you're interested, I have an old dupe account that should make cheating easier as new registrars are apparently monitored, but as long as your upload speed is minimally decent, you'll be fine if you simply permaseed everything. My first 100 GB of upload were made from a 60 KB/s connection.

    60 KB/s ? did you seeded a torrent in whole month ? or were they multiple torrents with 60 KB/s ?

    What an informative review! focus on retaining old content happens to be an addition to DDL forums! It looks well worth to join in!
    I feel comfortable to use both trackers and DDL forums at same time now. affiliate file hosts using by DDL forums can give enough monetary incentive to uploaders, which makes them more willing to keep uploading quality content. The only incentive on porn trackers seems just uploaded number and seedbonus (and spontaneous interest and enthusiasm), but for many people it's not worth it to share paid content they've purchased just for these virtual numbers (e.g. onlyfans or subscribing content from lesser-known studios). I guess these lesser-known new stuff would tend to appear first on DDL forums (or even forums specialize in exchanging OF contents eg. leakedbb.com or forum.sexy-egirls.com) rather than trackers. so using both maybe better.

    That's ok, I'll sign up for a new account. It's unknown yet if cheating is needed there.

    Multiple ones, of course - the more torrents you seed at any given time, the higher the odds at least one of them will be uploading data. Note that a large chunk of that upload came from partial-seeding one of their aforementioned packs, a good all-round ratio building tactic.

    Some days ago I uploaded 9 GB in a single day, but my current upload speed is much higher than in the past

    Very interesting point you've brought up here. For uploaders, revenue opportunities from torrents are much more restricted and limited to clickthrus from images, for screenshots and from hosts that allow this particular kind, and maybe donations. Not to mention uploaders have additional expenses in the form of seedboxes... or even buying physical media to rip, encode and upload (At this point I'd like to say a heartfelt "thank you" to the Erokuni.net crew)

    Note that digitally-distributed paid content can be sourced from hacked accounts and site backdoors, and so may not necessarily represent an additional cost. One way or another, it's always good to have multiple sources.

    Well, looks like this was drastically improved at some point.

    Code:
     SCAN RESULTS FOR PORNOLAB.NET:443 - 185.36.100.196
     --------------------------------------------------

     * TLS 1.1 Cipher Suites:
         Attempted to connect using 80 cipher suites; the server rejected all cipher suites.

     * TLS 1.2 Cipher Suites:
         Attempted to connect using 156 cipher suites.

         The server accepted the following 4 cipher suites:
            TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384             256       ECDH: prime256v1 (256 bits)
            TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256             128       ECDH: prime256v1 (256 bits)
            TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384               256       DH (2048 bits)
            TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256               128       DH (2048 bits)

     * SSL 3.0 Cipher Suites:
         Attempted to connect using 80 cipher suites; the server rejected all cipher suites.

     * TLS 1.0 Cipher Suites:
         Attempted to connect using 80 cipher suites; the server rejected all cipher suites.

     * TLS 1.3 Cipher Suites:
         Attempted to connect using 5 cipher suites; the server rejected all cipher suites.

     * SSL 2.0 Cipher Suites:
         Attempted to connect using 7 cipher suites; the server rejected all cipher suites.
    I shortened the ssylze log for brevity, but all previous vulnerabilities are fixed and HSTS is enabled. Also, alternate .biz and .cc domains are available. Unfortunately, there's still no HTTPS for tracker announces.

    Just wanted to mention something. Pornolab does have freeleech, but they do it their way: a global one on the last Saturday of each month, and only then. The obvious downside of not having any freeleech whatsoever for most of the year is well compensated by the fact you can grab everything your download speed allows you to within those 12 days, and if seeding enough data, you'll get huge amounts of upload from the massive surge of activity.

    This made me unsure about whether this scheme is truly disadvantageous compared to the more traditional way of making just a few torrents permanently free and giving tokens - I'm sure most people would be overjoyed if RED for example had global freeleech once a month, or even once a year - so I edited my "mini-review" on post #33 accordingly. Same goes for criticism of their (formerly) bad TLS setup, as that's been addressed since.

    Currently uploading like crazy due to the two-week global freeleech. If you have anything bookmarked or queued, now's the time!

    I personally like PornoLab more than Empornium, but there are two valid reasons (no, not boobs) to prefer the latter.
    • Design and functionality. Apparently some are traumatized by having to use a forum-based tracker in a foreign language, in which case a Gazelle interface where everything is in English would certainly be an advantage. And if you plan on uploading torrents, it could be a breaking point; there's less room for mistakes when you don't have to run screens of upload rules through a machine translator, then hope the result is understandable and accurate.
    • Security. PL has open signups and 90% of their torrents don't even have the private flag set, meaning they'll show up on DHT scrapers within a day, and therefore become downloadable (and monitorable) by anyone without even needing an account. In contrast, EMP is more secure, much smaller and fairly difficult to join, a combination which in turn makes it unattractive for the feds in the first place.

    Seeing people despair over not having an EMP account like it's the only place on the Internet with free porn is still cringeworthy, though...

    Well.. I have to say, I have both and I don't like either of them. The content that does it for me, cannot be found there. But strictly between them, I prefer EMP.

    About that... check a recent post on /r/trackers announcing a certain replacement. It may be relevant to your interests.
