Habe früher Norten benutzt , das hat aber meinen PC immer sehr langsam gemacht.

Dann bin ich zu G-Data gewechselt , aber davon halte ich auch nicht mehr viel.

Nutze die letzte Jahre schon Kaspersky und bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Muss aber auch sagen , das der Defender in Windows 10 2004 mittlerweile super ist also Antivieren Programm und Firewall.

der Windows 10 Defender ist gleichwertig zu manchen anderen free AV-Angeboten (2019 avtest.org)

sehe ich keinen grund extra einen zu installieren.
und der labert nicht so viel und hat keine werbung.

Ich habe über die Jahre viele durchprobiert, aber Kaspersky find ich immer noch am besten. Verlangsamt den Rechner nicht, kaum Fehlalarme und der generelle Schutz überzeugt mich. Hat mich schon einige Male gerettet.

VMware's 3D acceleration and shared folders are infamously slow, but that's my only complaint. A VM in nonpersistent mode is where you want to open totally_not_virus.pdf.exe (snapshots are fine too).

Ich bin seit Windows 10 zum Windows Defender gewechselt. Ich hab dazu ein sehr interessanten Artikel gelesen, dass ja die Sicherheit vom System Verantwortung vom System sei und man nicht dazu gezwungen sein sollte third party Software dafür zu Installieren. Microsoft hat hier auch ne ganze menge verbessert.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Windows Defender. Mein setup momentan ist: Windows Defender, Spybot und Zonealarm Firewall.
