Hello I am new, first of all thank you for the program.

I wanted to ask if anyone has a basic tutorial for the configuration of the program.

And also ask if when I use Ratio Master I must close the Utorrent client? or can both be open at the same time?

If the tracker is MAM, there is no solution for this at the moment. You'll have to use mRatio (with mRatio Fixer) or Extreme Mod for those torrents.

Otherwise, please send me a copy of the .torrent file that doesn't work and I'll have a look. For Unregistered, you'll have to either create an account and PM it to me, or use BEncode Editor to replace your passkey with zeros and post a public link here.

We don't, partly because one of the design goals was not needing a tutorial

That has been asked many times. Do a search for "memory reader" and you'll find how this particular situation should be dealt with.

If you're fortunate enough to not encounter any of the errors it fixes, then no Unfortunately, that's not the case for most people.

Not sure what this means. If you want RM+ to somehow interface with your real client to know the real ratio for a torrent and act accordingly, that's not possible.

When I add a new torrent file to mratio the "downloaded" value is at 0 and therefore the ratio's value is infinite...

That's to be expected when you add something as 100% done, since there is no download traffic to calculate a ratio from (nowadays torrent clients assume a download amount identical to the torrent's size in this situation for convenience purposes, but that wasn't commonplace when mRatio was created). You can set it to automatically stop after a certain amount of upload instead.

Is there a way to stop RM from downloading when the torrent achieve 100%, but still upload?
I know I can set the minimum download to 0 when I get to a ratio number, but sometime my upload is higher then my download because of my random speed. So it stop my download even if it's not finish.

For the moment, even when I get to 100% download, RM is still leeching si I will send information to my client account, that I've downloaded more then the actuel size of the torrent and could be banned.

That's the default behavior for obvious reasons, and cannot be altered.

Hey guys, thank you for this awesome tool , RM+ works awesome but i got an issue with one tracker (HD-Space.org), used mRatio and it's works fine there, but with RM+ it doesn't and it gives me this error in the log:




I applied the Registry fix mentioned by @anon, but didn't work,
I'm using Windows 10. any way to fix this ?

Unfortunately, it's the same bug with chunked responses that affects MAM, HD-T and potentially many other trackers using Cloudflare. There is no solution or workaround at the moment (besides using mRatio + Fixer instead), but it's being looked at.

If you're encountering this bug and really want to keep using RM+, here's something you can try.

1. Download mRatio Fixer v7 from Attachment 20840 and extract it somewhere
2. Extract the files attached to this post to the same directory, overwrite when asked
3. Run start.bat as administrator; wait until it's fully initialized and leave it open
4. Run install_cert.bat as administrator
5. Run RatioMaster Plus; add torrents that are affected by the bug
6. Right-click those torrents -> Advanced -> Network -> configure this proxy: type HTTP (CONNECT), host 127.0.0.1, port 8081
7. Click OK and start them

• Don't do this if you already have mRatio Fixer v7 installed
• Don't set the proxy for torrents that don't need it

Resubmitting this post since the previous instance disappeared due to a forum bug.

Thanks for testing. Needless to say, this isn't a solution, just a desperate last measure you could theoretically take until RM+ 2.2 is out.

yeah, it's kind of slow and tedious to setup every torrent from that tracker to use the proxy, also seeders and leachers don't report correctly to RM+. nonetheless it does it's job for now until RM+ 2.2 comes out.
