Interesting choice of version, by the way. Between 1.8.5 and 3.5, uTorrent went through a stage where it wasn't sure what it wanted to do in life.

Unable to add same ports in mRatio and qBittorrent

    Hi,

So the recommendations seems to be to add the same port for qB and mRatio.
When I specify the qB port in mRatio I get the following warning:

"Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted".

I am using latest qB and mRatio versions + mRatio Fixer 7 if that matters.

Is there a solution for this?

I needed the remote access and didn't want all the bloat. This might have been one of the first versions with that feature? Regardless, I wonder why the automatic stop doesn't work? I had to set "bt.randomize_peer_id" back to true because false was killing my local internet. Is that the reason?

In this particular scenario, this is not a problem as long as you always start qBittorrent first, so you can ignore the error.

I honestly have no idea since I don't require such a thing (and if I did, I'd use the regular Web UI which doesn't rely on a third party).

Regardless, I wonder why the automatic stop doesn't work?
Going to need more details on this. Do you mean the automatic stop on uTorrent, or mRatio?

I've had that set to false ever since it was added and never experienced such a problem, or even heard about it until now.

mRatio will not stop automatically when I tell it to stop after ratio >1. It just keeps "uploading"

the info to change bt.randomize_peer_id was in the thread where you posted my client file. I don't know why, but utorrent completely kills my internet now even if I'm downloading something slowly. I have the proper port forwarded too, very strange

I'll have a look at this.

Yes, that's necessary because mRatio may read the wrong peer_id if you have non-private torrents that actually qualify for randomization.

I'm at a loss as to what to recommend here. My only advice would be to check the official changelogs in case such a problem is known to be associated with this particular version.

I don't use qBittorrent, so I didn't even know 4.3.8 was out. It will be posted soon... and there will also be a very nice surprise for everyone who needs client files

Thank you. I tried mratio on several good trackers. It works on TIK, PTP and BTN, but failed on HDB. I managed to gain more than 200TiB upload on PTP.
