Haven't you guys had any problems with adblockers on youtube? I'm having adds poping up every 15-30min on large videos. I'm using ublock origin and it does nothing.

Never had any problems on YT! Also using uBlock Origin
A lot of people are struggling with YT ads and yet some people have no problem at all.

I don't know. It mus be something you did.
I use Adguard adblocker for YT and general ads, works like a charm to me!
I'm looking for a seedbox provider that gives trials, do they even still exist? I need to mess around with something.
Yeah! I found out bout some that work like you mention, via asking for CC information beforehand. And true that, it'd be exploitable as hell, unless they limit the bandwhich/speeds to ridiculous ammounts.. which would be pointless to trial it after all? Argh.. Gonna have to find another way. ;-D Thanks!
The update to youtube is frustrating. I have a greasemonkey script to download youtube videos which is now blocked and has been reported. How do you download videos without third party apps/softwares? I know of the streaming link from the cache. Is there any other method?
Did you try Internet Download Manager?
I'm on Linux so I have to run it through "wine". If the matter of download manger is being taken into consideration then I have "Uget" which is a download manger for Linux. However, I found a addon for Firefox named "Video Down-LoadHelper" which not only downloads the video but can help in converting it (plus it can run on many sites besides youtube).
Thank you for your help.

User scripts and browser addons are third party software too

I did the following this weekend:
- created a new machine naming scheme, with the possibility of adding approx 1 milion host to every one location. All lower case, standardised and supported by each os on the planet
- updated settings on the router, dns, dhcp, arp
- added crontab to enable all machines to wol at defined times
- added all poretable machines a static arp entry for wol
- repaired dynamic dns entry in crontab, and added an additional 2 services. achived 10 second update time after connection reset
- created standard setting for windows machines and linix. batch and bash scripts
- windows laptops and desktops now share common power setting, edited high performance to extreme, including vendor specific settings and lkaptop/desktop setting all in one
- added a logistics main file with hostnames, mac addresses, IPs, teamviewer ids, shares, tasks
- transfered 2 TB of data across all internal machines
- configured startup script to only launch if not on battery
- reconfigured all virtual machines, new hostnames, shared folder drop point, startup script
- reconfigured all physical machines
I'm going to bed...

What I meant was a service. i.e., some downloading site with ads and limits (not to mention the abundance of errors). But thank you for pointing this out.
This is exactly what I'm worried about. At first I tried the "youtube cookie" script (greasemonkey) which helped restoring the previous version. However, after a certain amount of redirects it seems to revert back to it's original state. I'm not worried any more since I have a firefox' addon which can help doing the download(s) automatically (via the cache link method). Also *Thank You* for the tip!
Anyone knows if there's any big difference in video rips between 720/1080p HDTV and 720/1080p WEBrip?
