I download 50-100 GB every month. Some months it can go up to 140gb. I mostly download movie remuxes, anime blurays, softwares.
Last 31 days 220GB
About 100-150 GBs a month. Mostly music, with random tv shows/movies/concerts. No blu rays, games or other big files.
Usually 100 to 130GB a month. The heaviest being 720p HD movies, animations and TV shows. Some game here and there.
it's hip to be square
I would say it's 10 GB a month in average. Programs, music and movies. It may increase in the future with the new seasons of The Americans and Better Call Saul that air this year; I'm also on the lookout for other good shows.

recently, between 50 and 300 GB a month, mostly music and movies (for the retrospective thread), mostly SD quality for previewing and HD for 'the keepers', mostly scene rls and p2p if needed
max. DL values (pre-HD era): up to 1 TB monthly, stored on CDs & DVDs
max. DL values (HD era): up to 2,5 TB monthly, stored on HDDs
max. seedbox DL values: up to 3 TB monthly
then there is also the cleanup era which needs more attention if all those files are ever gonna get sorted out properly
I'm not forgetting this

hehe, that was from the pre-HD era - it took approx. 1-2 months of heavier seedbox usage to get back to a 1:1 total torrenting ratio
1-1.5 TB a month.
I am guessing most of you have data caps right? I used to as well and now I have unlimited, which HAS to be the future.
Unlimited (real unlimited) is the norm in my country, and thus the present for me
Mobile data, however, is another story. All plans are capped and prices are highway robbery.

yeah, I love how some companies advertise unlimited, then turn around and say within reasonable amounts then do download throttling. also primetime throttling. my ISP also tried this, but has now backed off, probably due to too much problems monitoring people and obviously, customer complaints.
Still, it was way better when movies, games, music was found a lot harder. Whenever you would find an mp3 you would a feel a massive amount of joy. Today, you can find the entire works of an artist and still not feel the same as you did back in the day.
2002: 500MB/year
2017: 800GB/month
And I felt a lot better when I had 14.4KBps rather than 1GB/sec.

lolz, that is why happiness is over-rated.
trust me that google fiber is going to change the landscape and already has, the only problem is affordability. there is already a lot of fiber cable being laid everywhere, internet is a necessity now, not a luxury as it used to be.
