Gotta agree, dont think its hatred or simple evilness, they did get carried away a looot. Started with (the most) decent anti cheating scripts and then, if you ask me, they exaggerated a lot by simple ticking you as a bad influence based on your CSS history. I mean, hey, I could be reading these boards out of interest, like staffers do, or whatever (less likely). But obviously its much easier to just ban whoever navigated it, and automatize the script. Like country IP bans..

Didnt really piss me off, but I laughed hard at the simple assumption they took. Because I was a legit user.

I was caught because of some other reason. Also they never found out that i cheated.

Right now cheating is easy.

And I didn't even tell you about their mole accounts on BitTorrent forums (including this one) used to entrap traders and post IP-catching images, but it's all in the past and doesn't matter now

Well, in the end, they and many other trackers solutions and accusations ended up backfiring, because I and many other users got to know this forum because of them.

In my case it was when a tracker called nTorrents was online, it specialized in nintendo games. I used a nickname there which had an exact equivalent here. When I entered their IRC to ask what was going on, you can imagine the mess with me trying to prove my innocence! Later on I came here, signed up, made friends with a lot of users including the one I was sharing the same nick on the tracker, and here I am.

There's been a couple of attempts here at doing the opposite: framing an innocent user by taking their name and avatar, then making posts about cheating or trading accounts. It was sad to see how extremely effective that can be

Lol, seems depressing and only feel sorry for them if they really did that. Not only for the users but mostly for the people that did this themselves. Seems kinda depressing and quite miserable if you think about it.

Many staffers have grown arrogant and way to egomaniac in a quite autistic way. Who doesn't remember those levels of Whatcd's staff?

I can confirm this currently 4chan users are doing this to reduce the members of ptp below the user limit so they can join ptp.

I lost most of my accounts for being a member on an invite forum. I never traded/sold a single invite.

lool too long of an list to follow, also you sure lost some hard to get into trackers.
