Some of you might be aware that Fedora has a short life span. It's always updating, upgrading, and inserting newer softwares and modules into it's system. Apparently, Fedora is going ahead with using the newer Gnome version of 3. 18. If your using Gnome currently, you'd probably be using the 3.16.3 version.
From the DW link:This new test release showcases a number of important changes to the Red Hat sponsored distribution. Fedora's new beta release features security hardened packages to protect against memory corruption, GNOME 3.18 is included in the project's Workstation edition and support for security protocols known to be vulnerable (such as SSL3 and RC4) have been removed from the distribution.

If you don't want to use the default Gnome version that Fedora has for downloading, Fedora does have spins such as Cinnamon, Mate, XFCE and others like SOAS ( don't know about this one as have never bothered to check in to it)

Fedora does also have a labs section. Never really got into it but the link to read more on it is here:
Labs has got things like games, music related softwares, simulators for robotics, robotic frameworks, etc...cool stuff actually.
And if you tried Fedora before and your maybe wanting to try it again, you might want to make yourself aware that Yum was deprecated as of release version F22. It is now 'dnf'.
