not much of an actor, often typecast, no real success other than the f&f franchise where he did fit perfectlyOriginally Posted by starforce
for some entertaining movies with paul walker see:
The Skulls (2000) average
The Fast and the Furious (2001) very good/great
Joy Ride (2001) good/very good
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) average/good
Fast & Furious (2009) average/good
Fast Five (2011) above average/good
the rest would mostly fit between 'bad' and 'average', thus not mentioned here - for his best movies imo see above
You didn't like his Running Scared movie?
@yoco:
umm, that movie was quite messy, add-ed & (completely) unbelievable, as if they just didn't care to create a good plot, the main focus was on how to be more over-the-top while filming with weird angles/effects/scenes/settings, ending up in an occasionally visually interesting but also extremely annoying viewing experience
I completely respect your opinion and always will, but I think that movie is pretty good!
just wondering who will they cast now
I liked it too. Even if the plot was far-fetched (kid gets a gun and shoots his dad with it without a hitch, then runs away and goes through half the country in doing so), it kept the action going constantly, and what a bunch of crazy things they have to go through. Not to mention I had watched three seasons of Fringe prior to this movie, so the ending made me go "oh look, Walter Bishop is the bad guy!".
Let's not forget "John Wayne was a faggot", that phrase and the reaction it causes was priceless.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
i thought it was extremely far-fetched, as unbelievable/unrealistic/weird things kept coming every few minutes, on and on with no end in sightOriginally Posted by anon
funny yeah ('blasphemous' too), though again unbelievable on several levels (the kid's age/abilities/vocabulary, years spent watching wayne westerns, years of child abuse,...) - regardless of this, its actually one of the better scenes from the movie (a few seconds before the 'same old' returns)Originally Posted by anon
however, they would have to prescribe him some 'uppers' to get the guy going and who can tell what would happen when he finally opens his mouth and starts speaking heheOriginally Posted by yoco
I think it's a good film to have a good time
