i know people that need to have 40 processes running just to turn on their PC...

with opera, qip, the faze mod, notepad, outpost firewall and nod32 running. i disabled a lot of services and am also using microsoft's free user profile cleanup service download to keep my NTUSER.DAT clean & fast and accelerate shutdown
