    NoScript can do that if you don't allow trusted sites to run live content by default. Otherwise, this script supports that feature and a lot of other cool options!

    Don't install another Firefox addon if you already have Greasemonkey (and Scriptish is a faster and more optimized fork of it, by the way), you'll only make the browser use more memory.

    Since you mentioned having a not-so-good PC, I thought it might be a good idea to switch.

    Similarly, User Style Manager is faster than Stylish, and SimpleBlock mops the floor with AdBlock Plus (the memory difference is really noticeable in the last case).
