Show respect to all people, but grovel to none
WinHex can restore files that have been "lazy" deleted (i.e. only the pointer was killed, like when you Shift+Del). You'll need a forensics or specialist license, and bear in mind this seems to be luck-dependent. There were times when I couldn't recover something I deleted five minutes ago, but found recoverable items I wiped last year
Oh, and don't forget rule number zero of data recovery: do not write anything to the disk that contained your lost data. If possible, isolate it completely (physical disconnection) as you look for a solution.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
this should be the most powerful
Emergency Hard Drive Recovery, File Recovery Software, Data Recovery Software - Data Rescue PC3
This account has been disabled
Reason: Fake upload
Do NOT cheat. This involves; ghost leeching, spoofing and/or use of a modified client in anyway. If you, or anyone on your IP/server is found to be cheating then ALL users on that IP will be disabled.
Data Recovery Software, Services & Tools - Stellar Data Recovery
and for Data Rescue be sure you have the PC version, not the MAC Version. The Tool is very famous in the MAC-World.

Recover Data Like a Forensics Expert Using an Ubuntu Live CD
Bear in mind, this takes time. For your own sake, you shouldn't use the HDD in question while this still is an issue.
Thank u guys for the help, but I think I have to learn to live without that archive :)
