ttinvite.com is now invite trading site
There's something else that crossed my mind with respect to community activity and participation on a site like the one we've been talking about. Leechmodder, you mentioned earlier that the site has very little community participation. Maybe one of the reasons it has such low participation is b/c some people might find the sites offering this kind of 'service' (LOL. if it can even be called that), lame.
I think it is kind of lame b/c it's pretty deceptive to have people think that there is a torrent database that is directly available to SacraCorona users when there really isn't. Hence, people see how somewhat lame it is and as a result community participation falls (other than the general torrent invite request post being made). I can't say for sure as I can only guess but perhaps if a trading site offered direct downloads participation inside the forums might increase within the trading site as a whole.
But what do you call it then?? A torrent site or a trading forum or both??

Yes and it would become the first invite forum to become a tracker!
And you are certainly right when you say that folks view these type of forums as a gateway. Once they are through to the trackers of their choosing, there is no looking back.
My remark about the community was also majorly impacted by the requirement at SC that requires one to post a certain number of posts and to vote a certain number of times to be able to view the actual invite forums. Because of this, there were quite a few spam posts.
I'll say this with respect to any kind of forum user participation. If users/ members return time and time again, you know that the place has user-base stability and longevity. Member longevity is probably the most important when you think about it. A forum might get new members everyday. But if the forum (any kind of forum) has user base longevity, you know the place is successful. Your in a place right now that proves my point.

Longevity is a must no doubt; but for longevity, we need faithful members who don't run away once they get what they wanted.
I do agree with you for sure. How about this statement here. Faithful members and longevity might go hand in hand. ....sort of.
I guess it might depend what a discussion forum would offer too, yes??

Yes exactly. The forum should be rich in content to be able to retain members. Whether the member finds the the forum attractive in the future depends entirely on the interest/requirement of the user.I guess it might depend what a discussion forum would offer too, yes??
IMHO, when it comes to this (SB-I) community, you wouldn't have to worry about stability, longevity, and faithful members - as there's ALWAYS bound a user who has problems with ratio issues and needs help. The basic idea of this site is worth staying!![]()
Sadly, there's either less cheaters than some years back or all became very good readers![]()
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
It probably went 50/50 or so. Some became cheaters no more and some just became good readers and developed a knack for not getting caught again. Then again, there's real-life drama and maybe some of the one's that we've had in the past just sort of dropped off elsewhere or are doing other things now. Anything and everything can happen, anon.

If you want to get high level trackers you must practice a lot of ass kissing no matter what forums or IRC channel.
Is there anyone on UNF that gives HDBits invites btw?
Whats the URL for UNF?
I've always wondered, is there another forum to get invited to these forums to get invited to the trackers? (Why oh why are these forums invite only?)
