i dont know much about linux, i would like too though.. so basically you can enter some commands there.. does it have graphical environment? it would be interesting to implement this in java, you could access your Os through mozilla!!
No. He's looking for teamviever or a java-implementation of a NX/VNC client.

yeah i Cloud OS is my answer, thx anon. Cool stuff, for some tasks like document-writing or calc or music player!
@at supermarrioh IS VNC like a remote help? Thats good too, but with the difference you have to keep your pc open to access it.
anon pwnz once again.
Yep, VNC is basically remote control. Like Windows' RDP or Radmin. I use the latter to control my netbook from afar (~2 meters). Having that, uTorrent, jDownloader and Filezilla server turned it into a small-scale NAS.@at supermarrioh IS VNC like a remote help?
If you don't want to download clients, RemotelyAnywhere lets you do that from a Web browser. It has a Java applet as supermarrioh mentioned.

What exactly is a Cloud-OS? An barebone-OS with all userpecific data stored at the internet?

It was something like that. An account is required. Programs run off the server and you could store your files there.
I tried iCloud and g.ho.st when I first heard these existed, but apparently they're no more... at least on their original form.

Hm. I like the idea, I already run such a thing. Except that the server is my server.
I run it via X-Server over SecureShell or NoMashine NX if i need to run programs remotely, via mounted network-drives if i only need files. Quite a cool thing
Putting all your data to a server you can't control an that is not yours isn't that cool at all... Take a look at the Google-tablet, nearly everything is done online
