LG Optimus 2X wins “Guinness World Record” for first dual-core phone

Now you don’t see this everyday, but for some reason the LG Optimux 2X has been given a Guinness world record certificate for releasing the worlds first duel core phone. The LG Optimus 2X was first released in South Korea on the 25th January 2011, which did make it the worlds first duel core phone. I do think that its quite an accomplishment to be able to release it before all of the other manufactures.

I am guessing that when one of the manufactures bring out a quad core phone, then they will also get a Guinness world record certificate too. Anywho, congratulations to LG and if you want to take a look at the picture of the Guinness world record certificate then you can check it out below
