Not much... My download speed drops by about 5- 10 kbps when I'm seeding all of my 200+ torrents...Originally Posted by MiCRON

Seeding != uploading.
Inactive torrents use virtually zero resources. You can have thousands of them running. Just make sure net.max_halfopen is set to 20 for What.

Thanks! I've always thought that running more torrents would lead to more overhead or something like that even though they're not actually uploading any data.

Technically there is overhead - tracker updates. But they aren't going to slow your connection down.

Try using the advanced search. There'll be a combobox reading "Freeleech". Pick "yes" and then click on the Search button.

hey guys, thinking about getting myself a what.cd account but I want to make sure I'll be able to survive there.
did anyone try the latest mRatio with the memory reader? I've searched this thread for mRatio with no results regarding the WM with mRatio.
I'm a little upset because I'm positive that what.cd staff is reading this thread post by post every single day learning our techniques.

I have the Admin title but here's some advice for you if you don't want to cheat: only grab what you can't find elsewhere and seed a lot.

There are also many music forums who have full albums (in good quality) of many hard-to-get music artists...
Actually if you have those forums you don't need what.cd but I digress...
