Thread: Running multiple mRatio clients for same tracker

Smile Running multiple mRatio clients for same tracker

Ok, so for 1 mRatio i have 150 torrents in the list.
When i open it up and start them all around 50 of them dont start due to "timeout error" so i have to stop those 50 manually and and them again. (then they work fine)

So i was wondering if we use multiple mRatio (to reduce number of torrents per mRatio so timeout error doesnt occur) on the same tracker would it be fine?
    ie.
75 iptorrents torrents in one window
    and
75 iptorrents torrents in one window

My main concern was that since mRatio generates its own client values or whatever (the thing that ratiomaster's memory reader generates)
wouldnt it look like you were seeding from 2 different clients?

    Or is it fine? cheers.

Unlike RM, you can create only one instance of mRatio as far as i know. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sounds like a bug, you should report this instead of working around it.

I think most of the clients mRatio can emulate right now use one peer_id per torrent, so no issues there.

pimphead07, you can have two instances open if you run the first one inside a sandbox.
