well, I can ask him for you if you like. I'm not gonna guarantee anything though.

More than likely, your quite correct on the idea he won't provide any information on your subject....but hey.....he might give subtle clues, yes??

Though on the other hand, I could just as equally be wasting my time in asking him......bad idea on my part.
    Maybe just forget it. :)
    Sorry. Spank me. :p

Actually, it was more or less intended to be of a jocular nature...my last remark that is.
    Sorry.

And with respect to useragent, I believe that what Instab is talking about is something like this:

    Your User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:****) Gecko/********* Firefox/**** ( .NET CLR ******)
    Your IP Address: ************
You can find out more specifically about your own useragent from this website here:

Basically, it's your browser and can also include identification marks of your OS

All in all, I think it is very safe to assume that What. CD uses a number of elements in identification and I think that useragent ID support could be one of a torrent sites arsenals....among many others that are easily identified for potential use.

As such, it is prudent for any user here on SBi to be prudent when wanting to cheat.

But bear in mind. Ask yourself this question as I've asked myself this very same question before in the past: I might be a Staff member here but in all regards and in honesty, I really don't find it necessary to cheat.
At least not anymore ( I'm speaking for myself here)
I used to cheat like I was a madman.
    Not anymore.
I realize that cheating is fun and can also be very challenging.
You may find it necessary to cheat and that is understandable for any number of reasons such as bandwidth that is low.

but if you find yourself getting caught once too many times ( you do mention that you got caught again) , maybe cheating isn't the way to go.
But I can only speak for myself on that particular subject.

I"m not advocating to stop cheating, what I'm advocating is to think critically on your own part and investigate if you find it actually really necessary to cheat after having gotten caught so many times.

Having to lose one account after the other creates headaches and frustration.

It can be embarrassing as it was for myself when I had a couple of accounts via invites from here and elsewhere, got caught, sentenced to the ban-pen and basically ruined my reputation/image.

    Too many accounts lost.

You can cheat wisely, investigate what arsenals a torrent site uses and how it uses them, but you also need to think about why your cheating and if it is even necessary. I"m just speaking for myself here but I'm hopefully also speaking to you and others to think critically about any necessity of cheating if you've gotten caught just once too many.

Maybe it's time to think of alternatives.

I'm not trying to steer your ethics on the cheating topic, just hoping that you'll think critically on such issues.

    whose grey top shall tremble,
    He descending, will Himself,
in thunder, lightning, and loud trumpet’s sound,
    ordain them laws".
