    Megaupload problem?

Hey! So I'm having big problem with Megaupload for the last 3 days or so. I downloaded a bunch of 340MB files, but download speed is just acting crazy. It goes all the way up and then fall down to zero, sometime it won't even download for minutes. Anyone knows what's the problem?

Just asking but doesn't megaupload have their own download manager "suppose" to make things faster?

I think they do, but I'm using Internet Download Manager. Works best for me, gets high speed almost everywhere!

I also use internet download manager but I was just thinking if it isn't working fast on there why don't you install their download manager and see if it changes anything. You can always uninstall it when you think it sucks which it will by any means...lol

Create a free megaupload account, add the details to jdownloader, add links to jdownloader and enjoy your downloads.

P.S : jdownloader is the best program for downloading from megaupload, rapidshare.....etc.

It maybe a problem of your currently installed windows, i don't know exactly what's the problem but megaupload works great here.
IDM is good but if you have a problem using it, why not use jdownloader especially with advantage of not having to monitor your downloads.

this speed fluctuation happens to me too, but its not too often, other times files can be temporary unavailable for up to half an hour, but usually it goes full speed (also using jdownloader + free account) - i'd say its an issue with their servers/bandwidth during heavy usage times

wouldn't recommend using their download manager as its unreliable and sometimes makes you repeat the downloading steps...

    edit:

if a file drags like crazy, stop it and move to the next one, later on it will probably work fine again

Never faced a problem on MU myself, although two days ago my father was downloading a FLAC album and the transfer stalled around 25% forever.

Well someone told me that they're having some server problems. I guess that's the reason for my problem!

I've reached 600kB/s as a free MU user at school. Maybe the routing to your location sucks and Premium is faster because of segmented downloading.

well, of course premium is always faster. that's what premium is all about (mostly).
anyway, 600 is very good for non-premium

That has happened to me aswell and when checked the page for that download, it said, "File being accessed is temporarily unavailable."

It got fixed a day later perhaps maintenance.
