    This is the situation.

There are a couple of incompleted torrents currently runnig in utorrent using RatioFaker.(sites: TL,PTP,Revtt)

I would like to switch to Ubuntu now.

I would not be using utorrent under wine, probably be using Vuze.

    1) Would it be safe to switch over to a totally different client in between?

    2) Is there any RatioFaker like settings in Vuze which can be used while i am in Linux

I think the sites you mentioned won't care. And if they did, you can spoof uTorrent and say you switched to version X due to the old UI, "cleaner" codebase, etc.

The Extreme Mod ones? You can't send an upload that's a multiplier of your download, but all other RF options have an equivalent.

you don't need such tools on unix. you can tweak everything by default.
and if you don't know about it better don't touch it anyway

Why not... it's better than hoping one of us will spot your thread. Well, considering the title, that'd eventually have been Instab.
