Thanks but it didn't work for me, could you please give me a little more detail?Rename v1.7.7's EXE to something else, and use that as the process name when running the memory reader.
You must have each uTorrent version in a separate folder. Rename the .exe file for uTorrent 1.7.7 to something different than its current name, for example utorrent177.exe. Do the same with 2.0.2, utorrent202.exe. Now, when you want to emulate 1.7.7 in the RM, run it, choose the apropriate entry from the emulations list, run the memory reader, type "utorrent177" in the Process Name text field (without the quotes), and run it. It should work now.

Can someone explain to me what exactly I need to do for make uTorrent portable ? I don't need to open 2 uTorrent. Thanks.
Create an empty file called settings.dat in the same folder as uTorrent and run it (the program).

I hab da mal ne frage
Sorry das ichs nicht in english schreib.. Weil mein Englisch schlecht ist..
Unzwar kann man machen das wenn ich ein utorrent öffne, das es nicht dann die gleiche im seed/leech gibt?
Zb. Utorrent 2.0.1 (18488) mit zb. einen Bitreactor torrent
Und Utorrent 2.0.1 (19284) mit einem BTF torrent
Geht das?
Und falls ja, wie?
I know this is an old thread, perhaps someone will see this post. Suppose I don't want to run multiple clients at the same time; I just want to be able to run an un-mod versions at times, and mods at others times--not two or more at the same time. Do I have to follow this method? Also if I have a uT mod installed, can I run the "Original.exe" by itself and will it perform as an un-mod version?
We have a new posts list
There's no need for this in that case. Just make sure you put each one in a separate folder with its own config.Suppose I don't want to run multiple clients at the same time; I just want to be able to run an un-mod versions at times, and mods at others times--not two or more at the same time. Do I have to follow this method?
Original.exe is official uTorrent + everything listed under "Mod Features" in the release post. Also if I have a uT mod installed, can I run the "Original.exe" by itself and will it perform as an un-mod version?
To put it a different way, the answer is yes.

maybe if portable version is available will be better and easier.
It's not really that hard.

Create an empty settings.dat file and it's portable.
Chronic laziness much?
