anon or anyone, will you bother to answer "what's best emule links sites" for me to use?
I'm not really up-to-date with international e-link sites, I only use the Spanish ones I mentioned in post #39.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
Tell me your nation (German... English... or ?) and I will found the best site for you.
Well, I need mostly english rare stuff and some chinese if possible

Regarding security, the best solution is to put it outside the P2P client. Use P2PFire, or PeerGuardian or the one you like. Use an alternate DNS (not your ISP's).
I actually use P2Pfire with PeerGuardian lists merged with the IPfilter.
Other than that I guess it is really up to who you connect to (which server, tracker and even peers)
Regarding indexing sites, there are not that many or that good (I just use the built in search most of the time), otherwise check:
sharethefiles.net
www.tvu.org.ru
ShareProvider - games, movies, series (archive)
Os?oskop - eMule, eDonkey, Overnet (Polish site, lots of english content)
ARGENTOP2P (Mostly Spanish, but they release current date stuff in english too)
Hi. I would know some other information about differences (about security) from eMule and BT (when I say trackers I mean the public trackers).
1. The DHT, is like KAD, but in not fully svilupped, right ?
2. The trackers, are like eMule server, but why (if yes) they are much safe ?
3. How Is possible create a torrent for releasing and where post it ?
4. What exactly do the tracker ? They know our files and peer list only ?
5. The "Share Ratio" is calculated only for private trackers ? In Public and DHT you can leech and the download speed is the same ?
I beg you please explain the difference between good tracker of the torrent and emule server would like to know better the differences between the two and what exactly are the trackers and especially if you really are safer (I always speak the public sector). Thanks
1. DHT and Kad have more or less the same function - offering a descentralized way of finding sources.
2. it's more or less the same. A fake tracker to collect your IP could be in use if you get the torrents from unreliable sources. In eMule the same can happen with fake servers. However, eMule doesn't have private servers, while in BitTorrent you have the option of using private trackers.
3. where to release it will be your choice after you get experienced, but I can tell you how to create a torrent:
How to create a torrent? | TorrentFreak
4. the tracker keeps track of who's seeding and leeching what. It can't see the exact filenames and such as in eMule, only a 20-byte unique identifier.
5. no, although most private ones enforce minimum ratios before you're able to leech or even keep your account enabled. In public ones this doesn't matter.

1. Ok thanks
2. How I can know if a tracker is false ? How I can remove all public trackers and use only privates ? Is better ?
3. Thanks
4. 20 byte indentifier ? But they are much secure or is better eMule Servers ?
5. You tell what I write in the question: yes, DHT and public server don't cosider ratio. Private tracker consider ration. Right ?
2. you can search its URL in Google and see what people say about it. Also, once you begin using private trackers (if you do), the other question will answer itself
4. every torrent has a 20 bytes long unique ID that is calculated from the .torrent file. The tracker uses that ID to know what you're trying to download or seed. Don't worry, you don't really need to know this stuff, it's just the more technical side of BitTorrent.
5. correct.
