There's no one here with that nickname, so I don't really know, and considering it's a "What.cd banned me" FST thread, I shouldn't really care.

Whether he has an account here or not is as clear to me as when he posted that, so you can consider my comment about deleting it as a bit of a joke.

I'm logging in on occasion from my workplace and my local library. What if there's someone who does the same thing but, instead of logging in on this board(other boards), logs in on his favourite tracker(what.cd) to brag to his librarian?

Would that make him an accomplice because he's using the same browser as I?

Both of you may be banned due to the same IP (the library's) on different accounts. Same goes for cookies if you don't delete them after you log out (although I'm sure you do).

Yeah, forgot to mention I only log in to boards at these locations. So, it would practically mean that the guy would get banned for nothing and that their(what.cd) whole css history tracking gets pointless up to this point. Am I wrong?

Although if any of you can prove the same IP comes from library visits, you'd probably be reenabled.

Oh, avatar change, I thought that another person replied to my question xD.

    On:
Oh, that just means if our library has a changeable IP-address and our home connection it's a "goodbye what.cd forever if I do not wish to follow How to reregister on trackers/hold multiple accounts tutorial".
OR - maybe the first two blocks 69.999.x.x never change?

SBfreak will be happy, he's been waiting for a while

Most of the time that's how it is. But if you've visited What.cd in your library, log out, and then someone also uses his account the same day, you'll trigger their dupe detection.

So, I log in - address is 12.584.4.4...
Somehow router gets reset - address gets changed to 12.584.5.12 and this tells the tracker that it is not the same location?
That's why I'm asking about the first two blocks. I do understand that some of them represent countries/cities or whatever.

But do they represent locations? Because if that first two parts are always constant(they are in my case) would that tell the tracker it's just the same location/different IP? Or it's diff loc/diff IP?

Right, it's still the same country and ISP But that change in the last two numbers is enough not to get in trouble.

Oh, then this really adds to their pointless css history tracking.
Of course, the chances of having this hypothetical situation are really small. But I guess this can probably happen and the innocent one could never prove he uses the library and home connection
EDIT: by locations I meant like library, police station but well, seems these IP addresses are not that diverse.
    EDIT2:
Is there any way that someone might report my e-mail address from here to what.cd?

Only you and the staff can see your registered e-mail address here. I'd have made some joke about giving it to the What.cd staff in exchange for a VIP account, but I think it suffices to say we don't share that information with trackers - we don't even log your IPs.

I think Mihai told him the same thing in that thread.
Well, I don't think that CryBaby knows how to cheat at all. Otherwise he would stop wasting his time and re-register :)
    Thanks
