Soprano - Minimal media player
Here is a very fine minimal media player. It is not meant for huge playlists but rather to add some folders and leave the music playing in the background. It used the BASS library in combination with a tiny tiny Frontend and hotkeys to use it. I tried a millon of these but I really liked this one, and it is made in my country!
Overview:
Features
* Portable by design: No installation, no requeriments, no registry use
* Full Unicode support: Including unicode filenames
* Compact interface: Playlist oriented, resizeable window
* Drag&Drop exclusive: Accepts dropped directories, even entire partitions
* Hotkey driven: Intended to be mostly on the tray, check the included hotkeys.txt for the list
* Uses BASS library: Supports mp3,ogg,wma,wav link to author
* No adware, shareware, special pro versions: Does not bother user.

Kinda reminds me of XMplay which also uses the BASS library.
Not really sure in which situation I'd use it. I'm way too used for normal GUIs.
