OpenSubtitles has always fresh scene & selfmade subtitles, its a good site even if you're looking for older movie-subs.

    What's the difference between HD-Subs and SD-Subs ?
If you mean, Subs for x264-Movies, Opensubtitles should be a good source.

Easily Find DivX Subtitles For Your Movies

    35 sites indexed.
If it is not there, it is either in a bt with the original video or it does not exist.
Trust me, this is THE site for subs
There is also Subs.to, but its search engine sucks big time

THX, looks like a ad-site, but it produces good results.
    I'll give it few tries...

Yeah there is a ton of those apps, but I have never seen one that indexes as many sites as all4divx.com does.
If we could maybe get the source on one of those or find how it stores the queries, we could make a mega-sub finder

I use a program called SubLight, its pretty neat. You load up the video file and it shows you all the subtitles for it and you can download and play the subtitles with the movie

If you are using the XBMC Media Center, you're able to get subtitles instantly with a script called OpenSubtitles OSD.
You can choose and download your subtitle on a button press.
You dont even have to enter the Title, it will scrape it automatically.

its usually subscene or opensubtitles for me. I use boxee and it downloads from opensubtitles automatically. Be sure to use sources with srt files cause sub files suck
