Xbox 360 live movie hd rental warning
High id like to give a warning to everyone. i dont usually rent movies but I have never seen a hd movie before so I wanted to see it. I paid for one using xbox 360 live thing... When I download it says secure hdcp link not connected. I later read this and it means that when you use the hdmi port you have to apparently use a tv /monitor that uses some "high definition copyright protection" bullshit.. Apparently they don't ant you to record the movie... lol. I also read that people who had a hdcp compatible thing couldn't connect. So i recommend staying away from it all together.
I was using an hmdi cable that connected with a converter to my DVI input lcd monitor... so It didn't work... What a waste. I cant get a refund either.

That's interesting, I don't belieave any Bluray/HDDVD disc has media protection enabled at this time, so I'm suprised M$ would allow the MPAA to dictate that sort of stipulation with XBL downloads. That'll end with more Apple TV / iTunes HD sales. Bad move M$, bad move.
