Icon Customization Software

hey guys.

I'm looking for a software that is able to change all of the computer icons.
including closed/open folders, my computer and desktop icons, start menu icons, special folders icons (my music etc.), drives, long story short - every icon.

IconPackager is the best one yet but it's uncrackable and every released version isn't properly cracked and doesn't work like it should.

I want something similar and preferably freeware or sharewares that are really cracked

I was just on the verge of buying IconPackger but wanted to know if you guys know alternatives..

Last time I checked, MagicTweak let you do that, it could even change the Start Menu icons back in the 9x/Me days.

just tried it and it refuses to register with the keygen I got.
anyway it's a fine tool. not only Icon dedicated but that's alright.

anyone with other suggestions?

get ResHacker,
make a backup of shell32.dll in windows\system32 folder,
edit it and replace icon resources with the ones you want
save it and then ignore windows file protection
reboot

I don't like messing with the system dlls. I once changed the copy dialog and the shutdown dialog editing that DLL and my system crashed.
plus it's a bit tricky if you want to change your icons often.
