I dont think he means he needs to recover lost data due to formatting. I think jack means even after formating the disc how can he easily restore passwords to his fav sites.

Is a response in the context of jacks actual needs. roboform is a password storer. Its function has nothing to do with catestrophic data recovery.

Yes it will, mozbackup saves your current firefox profile, including passwords, cookies, history, cache, etc or whatever you want to keep, of course you have to save that data on other disk, then after formatting, installing your OS and firefox again, you can load mozbackup and restore your previously saved profile.
