Vuze panic spreads fast like Mad Cow Disease . Lists of private trackers that banned is so short that it an be listed with one hands fingers and most of people in the world use it on public trackers. So today Vuze tomorrow every open source client because closed source clients are "safe" - bullocks. Time has proven the more strict client rules version the less popularity. It is sometimes tracker being more elite becomes too elite and this is first step towards end. It is p2p it is supposed to be freedom. We can sleep well whenever we use Vuze or any popular open source client.

the best way for trackers to stop cheating or make it more difficult would be to make users upgrade their clients. I wouldn't worry worry about vuze as many trackers havent taken a stance with other trackers which are pushing for the vuze ban.

Updating clients and so on it is forcing people to do things they do not want. It is just like - Wash your car! - Why it is clean? - Because last time you did it was four days ago.Gathering ISP speeds and competent scripting. Oink.cd was working fine and had decent scripts. They should contact Alan Ellis he is available now and ask for making scripts, he should ask for good money for it I know over two years passed but i think he can still be in shape.

Closed-source clients (namely uTorrent) are gaining every time more power...

uTP solves this problem by using the modem queue size as a controller for its send rate. When the queue grows too large, it throttles back.

This lets it utilize the full upload capacity when there is no competition for it, and it lets it throttle back to virtually nothing when there is a lot of interactive traffic.

The main drawbacks with this solution are:

    1. The user needs to configure his/her BitTorrent client, it won't work out-of-the-box.
    2. The user needs to know his/her internet connection's upload capacity. This capacity may change, especially on laptops that may connect to a large number of different networks.

    3. The headroom of 20% is arbitrary and wastes bandwidth. Whenever there is no interactive traffic competing with BitTorrent, the extra 20% are wasted. Whenever there is competing interactive traffic, it cannot use more than 20% of the capacity.

uTP solves this problem by using the modem queue size as a controller for its send rate. When the queue grows too large, it throttles back.

This lets it utilize the full upload capacity when there is no competition for it, and it lets it throttle back to virtually nothing when there is a lot of interactive traffic.
    That's important too..

My speeds are as good as always.

uTorrent's developer team does acknowledge there are a few things to fix, which will be done in future releases.

So say I take a custom ID from the memory reader in RM. Do I need to take the peer_id from uTorrent 1.7.7 or can it be from any uTorrent build? (right now I have 1.8.5)

It has to be from v1.7.7, otherwise you'll show up as [FAKE].
