    Hi, but you are wrong, this tool is for adding a subtitle track to the mkv file, this is called softsubbing, because you can choose if subtitles are displayed or not, this subtitle track is independent from the video file. Hardcode is when you paste or burn the subtitle to the video and you can't remove it, you need to reencode the video to do it.
