/there is a program called EXT2IFS which, after installing it through Windows XP or Vista or which ever Win OS, will allow you to see what is inside your Linux OS.
I have not found any problems using it and it's extremely easy to use.
After installing it, the program will install inside your WinOS Control Panel as an IFS Drive icon.

Here's a couple of snapshots of being able to see inside the Puppy LInux OS drive directly via Win OS and having some access to it.
There are options when installing this proggy which can be installed on Win but not on Linux OS.
