    Your suggestions about Internal HDD

I am thinking of buying a new 1TB hard drive for my PC. I have checked some company’s sites & the most one I have liked is Western Digital Black Caviar HERE
I have also checked Seagate & have chosen Barracuda® 7200.12 Desktop Hard Drive HERE I have also checked Hitachi & have chosen Deskstar E7K1000 HERE. Finally, I have decided to buy Western Digital Black Caviar because some of its technology. Such as StableTrac & NoTouch ramp load technology. But I don’t know if it make high noise or has any other problems. So, please let me know about your experience with Caviar Black, green or other hard drives & do you suggest specific Model.

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB is 32 mb cache 7200 R/m. I know the importance of these specifications. What would be useful is if you have noticed instability in its performance. Or if it is critical for it to have a robust PC.

as i can say mate...go for seagate..coz i use it for along time...i never have any kinda problem..

[p.s.-->if u format your pc alot then dont select it..coz more time u format seagate gets some bad sectors...ITS HARD TO RECOVER THAT BAD SECTORS]

Thanks for letting me know. But what about recovering a restored image of the system. Would it influences seagate HDD as formatting does?. And can you confirm that Western Digital does not have the same problem?.

as i think you have to backup your whole drive if i m right...use the proper software...

or default windows backup software...(if you are using other one..then its depends on your use of that backup software)

Seagate i would prefer do a fresh install..just copy data from old hdd to new hdd so it would be great..also partition makes it the way...that if you are using alot hdd
