ISP Throttling P2P (Kabel Deutschland)

Well, my ISP is throttling my connection from 18:00 to 0:00. All those who have the same provider will probably know. Interesting though, was when I was downloading today, from my newly gotten laptop with a clean install of Vuze without extr. Mod, I went right on and started downloading on ratioless trackers and scl.

But the thing was that I only allowed to have 1 torrent running with only 10 seeders and I kick/banned all those who had less upload than 500 kbits. So basicly I downloaded off of seedboxes. only two connected at full speed downloading for example. And it seemed that it was't blocked.

So either my ISP (Kabel Deutschland) stopped throttling my connection or they catch "sharers" with the high number of connections to the own IP or something else. If any1 got the same experience (maybe with the same provider), it would be nice to know.

Stupid P2P shaping. My ISP does that too.

Which country were the seedboxes you could leech at full speed from? Perhaps they aren't throttling national traffic.

You can know this via ShaperProbe or Glasnost. Or simply load the Ubuntu torrent on a pre-1.8 uTorrent version and check how fast it downloads.

So they were not from my country, I believe.
And I also did it on SCC, GFT, and scl, so it would have been coincidence if I cought all the ones in my country

But it wouldn't make sense to try looking for it since the clock already hit 0:00 for me already, so the curse is lifted until tomorrow again, when it crawls back into my cable
