    utorrent port forward

    any port i forward 4m my utorrent it wont work...when i taste it it says its not working..this never happen before..i have random ip dont know what else to do??

    plz if any1 knows how to solve it ?let me know

    firewall i know how to forward it..so i alredy did..it is something else...

    i tried 3 ports.no1 works..this wont happen with me before...

    Eliminate the chances that it could be the firewall of the router or software based and turn both off then test?

    Are you using a router?

    If so, go to PortForward.com, they're the port forwarding resource.

    i use it..it says u have to be static ip..i have random ips ..so nothing abt it...its some utorrent prob..coz my vuze works perfect...i download abt to 10 mb & seeding 15 mb via vuze

    set static ip in your Local Area Connection under internet protocol version 4 (enter ip adreeses and dns..)on your pc,you need then also to disable dhcp in your router and firewall,then open port in your router(use port above 50 000),and give full access rights in your os firewall

    and disable upnp in utorrent and your router

    Remember your WAN and LAN IPs are different things. The WAN IP is the one others will see, i.e. your external one. The LAN one is used only inside your router's network - this is the one that needs to be static.

    DId you ever configure your router to port forward the port you was using for utrrent? If not then it was working fine and most prob its not problem from router?
    Check if router firewall it on as i have asked??

    sorry..guys i m not alot gud with this stuff..but as i think my lan ip is always random..when i turn on modem(router) only subnet mask is being same all the time..

    i dont know how to check router firewall sorry..i cant find it on my modem settings..

    everytime i format my pc or anything happen..it never prob 4m my router....as i think its utorrent problem..coz my vuze works grt..

    i cant do it..coz when i turn off its going to be wiped out..coz in our area static ips r not provided by isps

    does it work with vista sp2 any idea?

    it solved automatically..dont know how..but now port is forwarded..i just have to update my utorrent 15772 to 16688 it working..now..u can close the thread anon
