Star Trek (2009) 7/10

expected more from this one, the actors weren't able to reach the charisma levels of previous ST crew

special effects were pretty good, epic...i lolled at the punches which sounded like some monsters were throwing them

the story was, well, quite unbelievable with some unlikely outcomes...and that scene with young Kirk in the car was just unnecessary

afaik no one knew about Kirk cheating on the famous test, yet here it becomes common knowledge

anyways, imo watching the older ST movies gave a better feeling, this one is just too sterile, as it seems to be happening with movies that rely too much on cgi & effects
