Ok on a more serious note, I usually visit these sites... techreport,sb-i,facebook,Anandtech,Bit-tech .
homepage : EZTV just to see the days (popular) tv releases. I use it as a calendar aswell.

to be honest, I use bing now. I love the way it can show page content without clicking links, and I don't have to go through 10 pages of crap to find what I'm actually looking for.Google (and who doesn't? )
I've been a fan of google for many, many years but I really can't stand the fact that it's full of sh*te that I don't wish to see now. Such a shame really. I don't like change, but I'm feeling the pull for bing..... :( it serves me extremely well, just like google did back in '98

knivestv, have you tried Scroogle? It's Google, but without the shit you mentioned. Features are limited though, you can't search for images or use "define:" to get definitions, for example.

scroogle is kinda grt ..i tried it 2ce or more time...still kinda stuck with google..
bing used too..grt..too as for i like its style all the things..alot
