I have heard about what happened to FL.org and it seems they may die soon. That's why TL invites became available for FL users (potentially everyone, since they were not checking) via IRC recently.

I am getting scared because too big is not that good because they would attract more media attention.
Yes that's the downside of too big tracker.
They're getting far more attention too. That's why it should be safer not to follow with the crowd and staying with smaller trackers. (although that isn't a dead sure way to stay out of line too..)
