TL not recording download? SCC recording partial?

hey im using vuze extreme mod on TL. this is the first time i tried it on TL and i just downloaded something and for some reason it's receiving the fake upload but it didn't record my download so my ratio is infinite and i have 0 downloaded and 2 gigabytes uploaded on a torrent.

has anyone had a problem like this? i don't have anything checked off that messes with my download reporting. here are my settings incase anyone is curious.

i also noticed on SCC that only part of my download was being recorded and not the entire thing.


checked:

no upload
perfect spoof to azureus 4.0.0.0
stop increasing at less than 1 peer / 10%
safe fake upload @ 2x file size
speed++ mode
start @ 13%
intelligent mode
use swarm avg
stop when swarm = 0
stop faking at ratio 1.2 / 1.4 and between 0.0 / 0.0 when reached

I'd say a timeout/connection error, but in that case your upload wouldn't be counted, either. TL also never has freeleech, so we can discard that possibility.

You didn't tick "show as seeder", right?

A tracker connection error could be the cause of your SCC problems, though.

A screenshot of your settings could help, maybe you have overseen something.

i flash upload terabytes worth of "upload" on torrents that are dead, have 0 snatches, and are within a week of being deleted from the system with no problem... don't do this on new accounts, but my account is only ~3 months old and i can do this with noo problems!

hmm.. here's the screenshots for my settings..i guess i could just try some smaller torrents on TL and change a setting at a time and see if somethings causing an error somewhere

chyea22, if the torrents are using those same settings (double-click -> SB-I Hack Fake), they look fine.

these were the settings before i loaded the torrent and i made sure to double check by double clicking on the torrent and check the individual torrent settings themselves

ill try a few more torrents off tl and play with some of the settings and see if i come across anything. i was just hoping i wasn't the only one with this problem =X

i would consider flashing as i do have accounts on other trackers such as sct and scc so getting banned wouldn't be the end of the world for me but since i use tl the most i'd rather play it as safe as possible when doing something like cheating ;D

Flashing does work at TL, just keep amounts small... or not. And don't end up in the Top 10

At ScT you'll have to take it a bit more slowly - MB/s speeds work fine if the torrent has enough leechers.

hmm..i disabled the client spoofing and it seems to be reading my download fine now.. i have a few torrents going. after theyre done ill try another torrent with the perfect spoof enabled again to be sure it wasn't just a fluke with the one torrent.

i don't know why that would cause a problem though. i know my brother spoofs his on TL and he doesn't have a problem.

It shouldn't!

You could also try spoofing the latest Azureus or another client. Don't worry, TL won't care about these changes.
