help tranmission os x

Hi I am new to the forum and I was delighted to come ....
have not much idea of scheduling and I can not find a tutorial on how to compile or install tranmission mod for OS X. ( 10x.Ratio.Mulptiplier.Mod.Transmission-1.73.tar )

It would be appreciated if someone passed me a link on this topic ... thanks

I have installed Xcode 3.1.1 for Mac OS X, but do not know how to compile the tranmission.

On the web http://trac.transmissionbt.com/wiki/Building not clearly spelled out as building transmission.

me if you could take a hand .... how to move somewhere.

1. Downloaded the source archive for 1.72 from Transmission web site

2. Unpacked the archive and opened the Xcode project

3. Changed the active target to transmission-daemon and hit the "Build" button. (Build Configuration is Debug

1º i downloaded the source Transmission Leecher Mod 0.13 (1.52) .

2º Unpacked the archive and opened the Xcode project and Changed the active target to transmission-daemon and hit the "Build" button. (Build Configuration is Debug ....

3º report 2 error from xcode :
1º error: expected ';' before 'FAKE_VERSION_STRING'
2º error: 'FAKE_VERSION_STRING' undeclared (first use in this function)

4º go to folder noreport_leech_1.52/debub/ and open tranmission.app and work ....
then that I get two errors from xcode if transmission.app work?

would have to download the source of transmission for transmission 1.52 from Transmission web site ???

try to compile the official version as a test first and look if it works. i never used mac os i can give you only hints

if I'm ok thanks, I get the official version in order to compile and see if it gave any error.

just bought myself an apple mac and thinking of using either vuze or transmission. Is there any post thread that compares both torrent clients?
