wht is the best Security Program That Pass all the Firewalls Leak Tests

after testing the security programs available on the net, I found two that pass all the available firewall leak tests 100%.

They are Bitdefender Total Security 2009, and Agnitum Outpost Security Suite Pro 2009.

I ran every leak test I could find, and none of them were able to penetrate the firewall in either of these two programs; including PCFlank's test, which
    most firewalls fail every time.

i well update when i well have time :)

Test your firewall yourself ~ Good reviews are sometimes paid for and they mislead.

To test your firewall is easy. Download all the test files listed below from and run all of them.

If your firewall fails even one test, it means that a hacker can access everything on your PC by using the same method used by the test.

One of the reasons I use Outpost. It is famous for passing the Leak Tests Don't like newer versions though, I'm sticking with v4.

If that's what you use, then go test it

I did a quick search and it seems it's vulnerable against some of the Tests.

I just don't like the UI And as far as I know 2009 doesn't have something I like from v4, showing IPs instead of hostnames in the network monitor.

I'll give you that one. It's slowly going out of date as it ages. However, I don't want to change it But thanks for your concern

But browsing on the site I read:

    Welcome,

www.firewallleaktester.com will not be available for a few months from now primarily due to the money it costs me each month (more than 40Euro).

Do you know other good firewall testers ?

    Too bad.

Most "firewall testers" only check if your ports are visible, but have a look at this:

I tried Outpost some 6 months ago, I didn't like it. Result: uninstalled and it fu*ked up my whole network system in Windows, I had no choice but formating and doing a fresh OS install back then. So now I am a little apprehensive about trying this "experience" again. Maybe I'll try this Bitdefender.

Tell me if it still adds that sockspy to the "AppInit_DLLs" registry value.

Look n stop is an underrated firewall. It's highly costumizable but very simple interface, not recommended for beginners.

Once you lock the application filters no more annoying pop-ups for program permissions. It just block what's not on the list. Very useful in our family computer, no pop-ups. Set and forget.
