I heard rumours about that to, but i have not been sure .

I had no idea that so many countries are banned by the tracker: SCC.
That's unreal.

I don't know how many there are. I didn't count.

I even saw Isreal in there that's banned by the ' Bitme* ' sites.

Of all the places, I can't understand why that country would be.
The same goes for places like Brazil.

Maybe some of those sites, most obviously I guess, have an aversion of some type or other to some of those countries. Like New Zealand. I saw that it was initially banned by one site.


Some of those sites might as well just ban half the planet.

Israel and Romania, for example, seem to have a bad reputation for cheating and leeching. (But I have heard the largest israeli ISP manipulates announces to report an upload of millions of terabytes, get you banned, and save some bandwidth)

In my opinion, banning whole countries because of cheaters is a bad move. Disallowing further registrations from an specific country while reviewing already existing members from it, like ScT did with its temporal Romania ban, would be an interpunct.

And SceneSound went over the edge with their list of banned countries

Being pretty much in what.cd IRC channels lately i can report they also do not allow new members from Ukraine and Isreal. So you might want to edit first post.
