Easiest is RED PU 1yr -> AB.
But OPS/RED -> GGn -> AB is faster.

How much faster is the GGn route?

RED (PU+)>AB (1 year)
RED (PU+)/OPS (Elite+)>GGn (Elite+)>AB (6 months)
AB is not going to hit their usercap anytime soon, so there's no need to rush it.

I have a suggestion for everyone who wants to join AnimeBytes (AB)
Never take invite from anyone who is offering invites from a public forum or an unofficial recruitment thread.
Your entire invite privileges will be revoked and you won't recieve any invites when you rank up on the tracker and won't be able to view the invite forum.
Mostly try to join AB through the official recruitment thread from the trackers you're in.

didn't happen for me with other trackers.
Joined AB through an unofficial giveaway in a quite popular tracker (so i thought it's quite common to giveaway AB invites ) few weeks back and ranked up only to know i can never access their invite forum :')

no. I don't guarantee it for other trackers.

also if one of the guy breaks the AB rules, invite privileges of the whole invite tree will be revoked unless you contact them with a genuine explanation.

The thing I don't get about PTP/HDB recruiting methods is how they recruit on non-movie trackers only (GGn, AB, RED).

If I was an admin of a very sought after tracker dedicated to movies, I think I'd want to recruit from a tracker like BLU, BHD, UHDB, etc and find users who are very active there. I'd want other people who have massive libraries of movies to seed and upload. Which I mean, sure probably is overlap between those people and video games/anime/music people...but I'd think not nearly as much?

I think if I wanted the best movie content and was some die-hard movie lover to find the most obscure things, it be kind of annoying if I had to seed and build credit on a tracker not related to that.

The only reason why I can think of that PTP/HDB only recruit on these non-movie trackers is that the staff of other trackers like the ones I mentioned don't want them to recruit their members.

Personally I'm able to cover my bases with other trackers movie wise...even most obscure shit.....being on HDB/PTP be nice and I am on AB....but I just don't have the time or patience to upload 100 anime torrents lol.

But this whole logic for recruiting never made sense.

Unfortunately, this goes both ways, and factors like "do we have an existing relationship with the tracker(s) we want to recruit on" and "what's their and their invite forum's access policy" are seen as more important.

Also, iTS is mostly movie-focused, so there's that.

I might be wrong ... but I guess the BIG 'FILTER' (and metainformation recopilation) from the user, is the RED interview ... this would be the first step; the second step would be you showing you're able to 'work' hard for 'them' uploading MUCH content. The last step is you waiting for 'them' ... when they consider to give you an opportunity to join one of the big three ...

At the end ... I think it is a bit of a 'power game' ... they are in a 'power' position ... and they don't want to LOSE it. They have to be very careful chosing the 'path' to get through to them. Those in the 'path' someway get 'empowered' ... they might not want somebody with a similar 'profile' to get empowered ... they (BHD, BLU, etc... ) might get too much 'power' ... ... ... if their 'competitors' are 'weak' ... it means their power 'position' remains safe ...

Where does Materialize.is recruit from at the moment? I heard it's only iTS?
After searching, I found out iTS recruits from MyAnonaMouse and you need to be Power User/VIP. And iTS is also recruiting from ABTorrents? Are these infos still up to date?
